CPALMS Interview with Noah Brock

Published April 2, 2013

FAR studio technician Noah Brock recently spoke with representatives from the Florida State University Learning Systems Institute CPALMS project. CPALMS is the official source for K-12 education standards and course information in Florida. Brock participated in a “Perspective Video” – one of may tools CPALMS provides for educators to build and share resources to support standards-driven instruction in mathematics, science and reading/language arts. Brock’s video is intended to help students apply geometric methods to solve design problems (e.g., designing an object or structure to satisfy physical constraints or minimize cost; working with typographic grid systems based on ratios).

See Noah work with FAR’s ShopBot in this video and find many more videos at the CPALMS site.
