Each term, the Facility for Arts Research (FAR) offers internships to select FSU students with an interest in making using a combination of digital and traditional processes. Students may be from any major or discipline on campus. Interns at FAR assist with day-to-day operations and contribute to ongoing projects conducted by FAR faculty, staff and resident researchers. The FAR internship requires a semester-long commitment, maintenance of a regular schedule, a professional attitude and taking a high degree of personal responsibility.
Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program at Florida State University, and are supervised by FAR staff in cooperation with their own academic department. After applications are reviewed, selected applicants will be contacted for interviews. Only candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted. No stipend is available. Interns must be able to fulfill their hours during the standard 9-5, Monday-Friday work week.
